Building Energy Solutions with Balfour Beatty

Balfour Beatty and Opl, its specialist commercial fit out company, will be showcasing their new proposal for enhancing buildings through sustainable retrofit at the Re3 (Relocate, Refurbish and Reinvest) show on the 6th December in London.

With increasing focus on cutting carbon emissions, implementing energy efficient retrofit of an existing building is just one part of the solution to reducing overall spend on energy. Beginning with an analysis of how energy is consumed in the building, we will identify the areas with the highest consumption rates and develop solutions to cut down this usage.

Did you know?
  • The average payback period for energy efficient technologies is less than three years
  • Over 50% of the total life cycle emissions of an office building come from lighting.
