Balfour Beatty Construction was first awarded recognition against the IIP standard in 1999 and has achieved continuous improvement for each subsequent review, the latest one being in 2007. At that review the Company was also assessed against one of the IIP's stretch models in "Leadership and Management". This also contained a rigorous set of principles.

We have been recognised as meeting all the criteria and are the first construction company in the UK to have been assessed and recognised against this model.
